Back in September of 2016, I sat down for dinner in a Melbourne restaurant and cracked open a Fortune Cookie.
The slip of paper fell out and this is the quote I found inside.
These two sentences, found in the most unlikely of places, stayed with me long after we had left the restaurant. They sat in my mind and over time, they grew to become something quite special to me.

These words, written by an unknown source, went on to become the very first quote in the very first chapter of my book, The 10 Year Commitment.

It's funny how true some things grow to be over time.
